Something to do...

...okay, every now and then I have a "flower" moment when I crave a big juicy flower in my hair. We all know that big flowers can cost a pretty penny.

Well where is what ya do; go to your nearest Hobby Lobby store (or Michaels if you are not near a Hobby Lobby) and purchase some flowers out of the floral department. If you get these during the week that the flowers are on sale it will be an even bigger savings. Take the flower and cut down the stem. Get a square of felt, glue gun, glue stick, scissors, and hair clips. Cut a piece of the felt and glue it to the hair clip. Take that and glue the other side of felt to the flower. Wait to dry and voila! You have a big hair flower that didn't cost as much as the ones in the stores designed for hair. You can also attach a pin and you this as a flower on your clothing. You can choose whatever size, color, and flower that you want. This is also a nice gift to give to your fellow naturals and non-naturals =)
